Nats split mid-month weekend games

Les Castors l’emportent contre les Canadians The Nats have a weekend break in their schedule. Their next game is Jan. 25 in Van- kleek Hill against the Cougars. Scoring for the Eagles Sunday were Ja- cob Bélanger and Maxime Choquette. Goal assists came from Mathieu Galipeau, Jean- Louis Mandel, and Tyler Séguin. Splitting net duty were Miquel Laroche and Charles- Olivier Murray. and Brandon Mullin. Goal assists came from Mullin, Cam Dykstra, Joseph Dykstra, Dylan Marshall, and Bryden Van Kessel. Warding the Rockets net was Jason Buma. Garrett Reed punched in a pair of goals for Rockland against St-Isidore. Single points for the Nats score tally came from Armstrong, Martel, Wilson, Jeff Brett, Joey Heath, and Patrick Lemay. Assisting on the scoring were Armstrong, Clement, Heath, Hermelyn, Reed, Wilson, Frederik Cham- pagne, Matthew Clifford, Thomas Lowry, and Nickolas Spirito. Net duty belonged to Jacob Chartrand.
The Rockland Nationals finished the first half of their January schedule with one win and one loss over the Jan. 14 weekend. The North Dundas Rockets shot past the Nats 5-4 when they hosted Rockland on Jan. 14. Still on the road, the Nats clipped the wings of the St-Isidore Eagles 8-2 in St- Isidore on Sunday. Scoring for Rockland against North Dun- das were Paul Armstrong, Matthew Clement, James Hermelyn, and Matthew Wilson. Assisting on goals were Clement, Nathan Lowry,Vincent Martel, and Anthony Tuli- pano. Lucas Samson guarded the Nats goal. Christopher Marchand scored a hat trick for the Rockets. Also popping in goals for the North Dundas tally were Liam Morrow

Les Castors de Clarence Creek l’ont em- porté par le compte de 4-3 en prolonga- tion contre les Canadians juniors d’Ottawa dimanche à Clarence Creek. Ottawa a inscrit le premier but lors de la première période. C’est grâce à Jean-Sylvain Boyer, aidé de Johnny Pickering et Fran- cesco Santini. Le but de Robbie Pickard trois minutes plus tard a poussé l’avance d’Ottawa à 2-0. Ce dernier a reçu l’aide de Pickering et Jean-Sylvain Boyer. Clarence Creek a dominé la deuxième période. Olivier Brunet a compté le premier but au cours de la première minute du deu- xième vingt, avec l’aide de Zacharie Car et de Tyler Pancel. Car a compté cinq minutes plus tard grâce aux passes de David Ouellette et Jean-Sébastien Gratton.

Un autre jeu de pouvoir d’Ottawa, cette fois de Pickering au cours de la première minute de la troisième période, a donné le coup d’envoi aux Canadians. Ce dernier a reçu l’aide de Drew Stirling et de Vinny Quattrocchi. Zach Rodrique a égalisé le score à nouveau vers la fin de la période avec l’aide de Suraj Bali et Will Murray. À la fin de la première minute de la période de prolongation, Car a marqué le but gagnant avec l’aide d’Olivier Brunet et Daneil Mellon. Les Castors accueillaient l’Ottawa Golden Knights mercredi soir, le 18 janvier, à l’aréna de Clarence Creek.
