Be a Proper Shopping Coach Chances are your new customers won’t remember everything from your Melaleuca Overview—following up solidifies the information they do remember and gives them a place to ask additional questions. During follow-up, the fun begins. You become your new Preferred Member’s personal shopping coach. There’s no foolproof formula for proper coaching, but these coaching points are designed to help your customers leave the Backup Order on the shelf.

1 Review any information about ordering. Before talking to your new member about anything else, even being a Marketing Executive, make sure they know how to shop. Walk them through Melaleuca.com, direct them to our world-class customer service representatives, or look through the catalogs with them. 2 Introduce them to Learn to Earn. Just as we compensate you for sharing the products, we’ll reward your customers for purchasing them. Brand-new members are automatically enrolled in the Learn to Earn program, giving them access to $100 Loyalty Shopping Dollars in their first six months—and they watch educational product videos in order to use them. After six months, they continue to earn Loyalty Shopping Dollars from every order they place online or by phone. Customers who watch the Learn to Earn videos stay customers longer, purchase the products they learn about in the videos, and become dedicated fans of our better, safer products for life. 3 Create a Customised Backup Order. Teach Preferred Members how to create a Select Pack over the phone or on Melaleuca.com. Being a proper shopping coach requires a little extra time, but that extra time pays big.

4 Set up reminder emails. While you can remind your team to place orders each month, Melaleuca also wants to help. Every Preferred Member has the option to receive order reminder emails once a month between the 1 st and the 25 th of each month. In addition to the reminder, these emails include coupons for additional savings, further enticing customers to order each month. 4 Help them place their first order. If the new Preferred Member is ready, help them place their first order in their follow- up appointment so they can confirm their initial excitement about the products by actually having them in their home. Encourage purchasing the Home Conversion Pack or Value Pack for great savings on converting their whole home. The more products your Preferred Members try, the more likely they are to stay. 5 Consistently be a shopping coach. Don’t be afraid to continue coaching your personal customers and your team on shopping monthly. Long-term residual income comes when you consistently help customers experience Melaleuca’s products.

If Melaleuca saw that my friend didn’t place an order last month and canceled her account because of it, she would have lost her Loyalty Shopping Dollars.
