WELCOME
WELCOME TO THE CDP BRANGUS Fall Sale Dear Friends, Fellow Cattlemen and Cattlewomen, On behalf of Draggin’ M Ranch, Circle F Farms and CDP Brangus, it is my pleasure to welcome you to El Dorado, Arkansas. We are proud to have you here to evaluate the cattle, visit with friends and fellow cattlemen, and be part of an exciting new chapter for CDP Brangus. The past year has brought significant change to Draggin’ M Ranch with Woody Folsom and Circle F Farms acquiring the ranch and joining us as partners in the continued development of this program. While ownership has changed, our commitment to the cattle, our customers and the future of the Brangus breed remains stronger than ever. We share a belief that good cattle are built through proven genetics, sound management, patience and a long term vision, and we are excited about what this partnership will accomplish. As CDP Brangus members, our focus has always been on producing cattle that work. The bulls offered here have been developed with longevity, structural soundness, fertility and performance in mind. We want bulls that can cover cows, stay sound, remain productive and add value to an operation for years to come. The registered females have been carefully selected to represent the direction and future of CDP Brangus. They combine proven cow families, maternal strength, performance and the kind of functional phenotype needed to build lasting Brangus programs. We believe these females have the ability to become the foundation of future cow families and leave their mark across the breed. We are equally excited about the commercial females. With cow numbers down across the country, rebuilding the nation’s cowherd will require productive, fertile and functional females. These are the kind of cattle that can go to work, raise a good calf and help cattlemen build their numbers back with confidence.
We are proud of the history behind CDP Brangus, but even more excited about its future. There is tremendous opportunity ahead, and we are grateful to have Woody Folsom, Circle F Farms and our CDP partners working together toward that future.
Thank you for making the trip to El Dorado and for placing your confidence in our cattle and our program. We invite you to study the offering, walk the pens, ask questions and spend some time with us. We believe you will find cattle here that can make a meaningful difference in your operation.
Welcome to El Dorado, and welcome to the next chapter of CDP Brangus. We look forward to seeing you sale day and to seeing where these cattle take you.
Sincerely, Grady Green President Draggin’ M Ranch / Circle F Farms

DEVELOPED FOR THE REAL WORLD
DEVELOPED for the Real World
There is more than one way to develop a bull, and the difference becomes especially important when sale day is over and that bull is turned out with a set of cows. A bull can be made to look impressive with a bulk feeder, where grain products are readily available and pounds can be put on efficiently, or he can be developed on a ration that is primarily forage based and challenged to maintain himself in an environment that more closely resembles the conditions he will face as a working herd sire. At CDP Brangus, we believe the latter tells you far more about the kind of bull you are buying.
can cover country, stay athletic, maintain his flesh and continue growing without relying on a constant supply of grain is telling you something valuable about his kind.
The pasture does not hide shortcomings.
The cattle that thrive in this environment have to travel for their feed, navigate rougher ground and utilize forage efficiently. They are expected to develop skeletal soundness, muscle, body capacity and athleticism while maintaining condition. Those that cannot keep up with the demands of the environment identify themselves. That natural pressure is a valuable part of the development process because it helps us find bulls with the functional ability we believe matters long after sale day. A bull’s value is ultimately measured by the calves he sires, the cows he gets bred and the number of years he can remain productive. Longevity is not created by a feed bunk alone. It comes from soundness, fertility, structural integrity, athleticism, forage utilization and the ability to maintain himself under real world conditions. A bull that can go from a development ration to a forage based breeding pasture and hold his flesh is a more practical investment for the cattleman who expects his herd sires to work the same way his cows do. That is why we believe the development program behind a bull matters. Feed him for a picture, and you may get a picture. Develop him for the pasture, and you have a better opportunity to get a working herd sire. At CDP Brangus, our goal is to offer cattlemen bulls that are prepared for the environment they will ultimately enter. They are developed with forage in mind, challenged by country that requires them to travel and evaluated for the kind of structural and functional ability that cannot be manufactured by a feeder. When these bulls are turned out with cows, we want them to go to work, find their cows, cover the country, maintain their condition and keep breeding.
Our philosophy is simple. We want our bulls developed to work for a living.
A bulk feeder ration can be an effective tool for adding weight and creating a powerful visual package in a relatively short period of time. There is nothing inherently wrong with using grain to develop cattle, but there is a fundamental question every commercial cattleman should ask: What happens when that bull leaves the free-choice feeder? A bull that has been accustomed to a steady supply of high energy feed must eventually transition to pasture, cover country, travel long distances and breed cows. The environment changes, the feed source changes and the job changes. That is when true usefulness begins to separate itself from appearance. At CDP Brangus, we put tremendous value on a bull’s ability to maintain condition on forage. The cowherd he is going to service is not going to live at a bulk feeder, and neither should the bull be developed as though that is where his working life will be spent. It is not practical, and it is certainly not profitable, for a commercial cowherd to depend on a bulk feeder to keep cows in working condition. Cows have to harvest forage, travel to water, travel to mineral, calve, raise a calf and breed back. The bull has to find those cows and get the job done. We believe he should be developed with that reality in mind. That is one of the reasons CDP Brangus feeds its bulls at Rose Bud Bull Development. The large pastures and rocky terrain provide more than a place to grow cattle. They provide an environment that naturally challenges them. There is plenty of room to travel, and the rocky ground demands sound feet and legs. A bull that
Because when the gate opens, the bulk feeder is gone. The pasture is where the bull earns his keep.

CATTLE LOAD OUT Cattle will be available for load out immediately after the sale and proper settlement has been made on purchases. If you wish to load out at a later date please note that when you check-out. Arrangements can then be made to have your cattle ready when you arrive. SAVE SHIPPING AND HANDLING You can save shipping and handling charges by picking up semen that you will need for your breeding season, at the CDP Brangus sale. Representatives from CDP Brangus will be available to assist you with ordering. We would ask that you keep your orders to increments of 5’s and 10’s so that we can avoid excessive handling of semen. Please contact Craig Green at 870-834-1976 to place your order prior to the sale to assure we have enough semen on hand and available sale day. SALE ORDER The cattle will sell in sale order. We will have a printed sale order prior to the sale, in the office area. Please note that cattle will not be going through a ring and will be presented on video only . GENETIC CONDITION POLICY Any animals that are confirmed as carriers of a genetic condition such as DD, developmental duplication, will be listed above their pedigrees as DDC. Any animals we are still waiting test results on will be listed as DDPC. All other animals have been either confirmed free of known genetic conditions by test results or from pedigree analysis. TRUSTED PERFORMANCE INFORMATION We are extremely dedicated to providing our customers the genetics needed to help positively impact their bottom line. We will not compromise the integrity of our data. Our utmost goal is to provide the information that will successfully identify the genetics most needed in your particular operation. The information provided by the IBBA was provided at weaning and yearling by the breeder for computation. We believe in EPD’s, but fully realize that they are only as good as the information provided to the association. Inaccurate weights and faulty contemporary groups lead to poor information and bad selection decisions. Please realize that these cattle were in different contemporary groupings at weaning; therefore, it is not fair to compare birth weaning and yearling weights from one herd to another. A wide range of environments are represented in this offering and thus have affected those weights, plus different management comes into play, i.e. creep fed vs. not creep fed. Within herd weights and ratios were good when that was the only information we had. However, EPD’s are a much better indicator of genetic potential and are the only way across herd comparisons can be made. Also, we have listed the current non-parent Brangus breed average EPD’s in the catalog for your reference and comparison on how individual lots compare to the average of the breed in any trait.
MAINTENANCE AFTER THE SALE CDP Brangus will work with customers on delivery of cattle in an effort to have the cattle delivered to customers as soon as possible after the sale. However, if you are not ready for the cattle at this time we will maintain the cattle at the ranch for a period of time until you are ready for them. A nominal fee of $3.50 per day will be charged plus any veterinary charges incurred will be billed. Cattle will be maintained on a growing ration in grass traps. Cattle become the buyer’s responsibility immediately after the sale. CDP Brangus is not responsible for insurance costs or death. TRUCKING At the conclusion of the sale or as soon as possible following the sale if purchases are made via video or sight unseen agreement; please notify the sale staff as to specific instructions about cattle delivery. HERD SIRE PROSPECT DMR Top Gun 60N4 is the kind of bull that commands attention from the ground up, combining structural correctness, performance and a pedigree loaded with proven genetics. His perfect sheath design is complemented by a moderate frame score, exceptional depth of body, tremendous spring of rib, plenty of bone and the foot size needed for long term usefulness. He offers the kind of functional build that should allow him to cover cows efficiently while adding substance and dimension to his progeny. His performance profile makes the package even more compelling. 60N4 ranks in the top 10% of the breed for WW, YW and Terminal Index, giving him the genetic horsepower to sire cattle with added growth and value. His pedigree brings together two powerful cow families and some of the most Terminal Index (TERM) combines birth weight, weaning weight, milk production, post wean gain, ribeye area, marbling, and back fat EPDs into a single number. The index is expressed as a standard deviation from the breed average, meaning that bulls with a +2 index are two standard deviations above the average. Higher numbers are superior to low numbers. Fertility Index (FERT) combines heifer pregnancy, stayability, days to first calving, mature cow weight, and back fat EPDs into a single number. GE-EPDs are a more accurate way to estimate an animal’s genetic value than traditional EPDs, especially for younger animals. They use DNA test results, also known as genomic tests, along with other data to improve the reliability of an animal’s EPD. EPDs Expected Progeny Difference (EPDs) is the best estimate of an animal’s genetic merit for a particular trait. It takes into account the animals’ own performance compared with its contemporaries and the performance of its relatives compared against their contemporaries. BULL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Here at CDP Brangus we are always ready to adapt and adjust to the times in terms of growing and feeding our bulls, ultimately with our customer’s best interests in mind, which in turn, benefits us as seedstock producers. Longevity, soundness, and fertility are all factors that we feel must be taken into account when developing our bulls so that you, as our consumer, get an end product that can be turned out into your cowherd and have the ability to service your cows and come out of the breeding season having maintained his body condition score. This will, in turn, allow him to recover and be ready to be turned out again in the next season with very little additional supplementation, year after year. We have tried an assortment of feeding programs throughout our journey and have landed on, what we and many others feel, is the answer to all of our bull development needs. Keith Cagle at Rose Bud Feeders brings 25+ years of bull development experience to the table and has tweaked and adjusted his ration with assistance from the Caldwell family through the years until they have totally perfected the bull feeding game. The fallout rate of the CDP bulls since we started feeding with Keith has been the least in our history of growing and selling bulls and we’re confident that you will continue to experience the same trend when you get your new CDP bull’s home. The ration that these bulls are developed on is a grass silage- based feed with commodities added to balance the ration for protein, fat, and TDN with the goal set to have the bulls gaining an average in the 3-3.5 pounds per day range across the feeding stage until they become yearlings. A mineral pack is also added to every mix to ensure that their vitamin and mineral intake is consistent and meets their development needs.
The post-weaned bull calves, already having received their vaccinations before arriving at the Rose Bud Bull Test Center, will immediately begin their transition onto the silage diet for a 30-day warm up period before being weighed onto gain test. After they are fully transitioned onto the silage ration, they are weighed and evaluated as they begin their 90 day gain test where they will remain in their contemporary groups until its completion. At the conclusion of the 90 day test, the bulls are weighed, scrotal circumference measured along with Donnie Robertson taking carcass ultrasound measurements. Once the collected raw data is all turned in to the Brangus Association, adjusted weights and measurements are used to further evaluate each and every bull for quality, structural soundness, and disposition, making sure that every standard and benchmark is met or exceeded. The bulls are sorted and grouped according to type and kind with quality and uniformity in mind and will be monitored from then on for any issues that may arise and will remain in these groups until sale day. One of the things that we take pride in at CDP Brangus is the ability for our bulls to be handled by any means necessary. Meaning that we want them to experience every possible handling method that they could possibly see before arrival at their new home. These bulls are handled on foot, both alone and as a group, horseback, with dogs, as well as four wheelers and side by sides and they have all passed the test, which will allow you to take comfort knowing that these bulls will handle for you when the time comes to move them. The work has all been done for you and we’re confident in our process and we think you will enjoy reaping the benefits of that process.

ABOUT OUR BULL DEVELOPMENT
CDP BRANGUS & UTILIZING TOP DOLLAR ANGUS Because Genetics Matter. Because Premiums Matter.
WHAT IS TOP DOLLAR ANGUS?
At CDP Brangus we believe calves should be valued for more than just weight, hide color or breed. Your genetics are invisible at sale time, unless they’re verified. That’s why we have partnered with Top Dollar Angus, the first genetic verification program built to reward both ranchers and feeders. WHY IT MATTERS Turn your investment in elite genetics into real returns. Feeders DO recognize and reward the real genetic performance behind cattle. It reduces their risk, increases their predictability, and improves ROI. Faster growth and feed efficiency = lower costs. Consistent carcass traits = higher grid returns. HOW IT WORKS IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS: 1. Top Dollar Angus evaluates your calves’ genetics • Gather your EPDs: Top Dollar Angus can help retrieve these EPDs and $ Indexes of current and past sires to complete the free evaluation • Gather your DNA test results 2. Promote Your Sale if Enrollment is Confirmed • This is accomplished via direct calls and texts to 40-60 feedyards, E-blasts to 200+ industry contacts and social media and digital exposure 3. Capture More Value - verified status and larger exposure earns attention, in turn capturing more value.
The beef industry’s leading genetics verification and marketing assistance company for commercial feeder cattle. We focus exclusively on Angus and Red Angus influence cattle ranking in the Top 25% for growth and carcass traits. Our focus on these traits is driven by needs of our feeding partners. FOUNDATION Funding INTERNATIONAL BRANGUS available while giving back to an organization dedicated to its future.
The partners of CDP Brangus have a long-standing commitment to the Brangus breed and the people and organizations that continue to move it forward. Throughout the years, our partners have had the privilege of serving the breed in numerous capacities—as board members, committee members, volunteers and supporters of programs dedicated to strengthening Brangus cattle and the breeders who produce them. Giving back to the breed that has given so much to each of us has always been an important part of who we are. In that spirit, CDP Brangus is proud to support the International Brangus Breeders Foundation and its investment in the future of Brangus. We recognize that continued progress depends not only on the cattle we produce today, but also on our willingness to invest in research, education and opportunities that will benefit Brangus breeders for generations to come. At CDP, we have built our program around identifying and multiplying proven genetics that perform in real- world conditions. Over time, certain females distinguish themselves through their ability to consistently produce exceptional progeny, regardless of the sire they are mated to. These are the cows that build programs, advance the breed and leave a lasting impact, and we believe genetics of that caliber are worth sharing.
Several CDP Brangus partners are offering the right to ONE IVF FLUSH on any of the cows in their respective ranch’s donor program. We will guarantee a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 IVF embryos at the seller’s convenience and buyer’s expense. These females must currently be in the respective ranch’s donor program and being flushed. No virgin heifers will be available. Buyer pays all of the flush costs, any storage and set up fees and shipping costs. As any great cattleman will tell you, GREAT COWS BUILD GREAT PROGRAMS. At CDP Brangus, we believe the foundation of lasting genetic progress begins with proven females, the kind that consistently produce cattle with the performance, predictability and quality to move a program forward. These donors have earned their place through REAL-WORLD PERFORMANCE and generations of proven production. This is a unique opportunity to access genetics from some of the females that represent the very best of the CDP program, while helping us invest in the future of the breed through the International Brangus Breeders Foundation for 2027 and beyond. The live auction of these lots will take place immediately following the female sale on, Wednesday evening November 18, 2026 at approximately 7:30 PM. For those interested in participating and unable to attend this live event, please contact Jimmy Trice at (205) 270-6488
