Le samedi 14 janvier, le Club de tir de l’Est ontarien (EOSC) tenait son dixième Winter Milshoot annuel. Celui-ci a permis aux bénévoles du club d’amasser 300 $ en espèces et environ 100 lb de nourriture pour la Banque alimentaire de Bourget. The volunteers consider this event to bemore of a fun shoot, as they keep scores but only win bragging rights. Although the match is very friendly and informal, it’s also very strictly controlled: “Safety is always paramount, we have an impeccable safety record and we’re going to keep it that way”, added Pridham. This military style shoot, while promoting the shooting sport, also fosters interest in the preservation and appreciation of military firearms that are WW2 or older.

Ensemble, ils ont permis de remettre un total de 100 paniers aux gens dans le besoin de Casselman. Notons entre autres que la Banque Scotia de Casselman, en plus de donner quelques heures de bénévolat, a récemment fait un don de 3000 $.
