Silver Creek in Russell Fair spotlight
Silver Creek takes centre stage, as the lead attraction in the musical entertainment line-up for this year’s Russell Fair. !is Ottawa-based band has become one of the rising stars of the concert circuit since their "rst show at the Cisco Systems Bluesfest in July 2006. !e show was so well received the band continued to play at the festival for the following three years, including a 2009 main-stage performance before a crowd
Time , to a sold-out audience at Barrymore’s Music Hall in January 2008. !e band’s second release, Follow the Sun , is a full-throttle foray into what is des- cribed as Northern-fried rock and soul, and crosses several sub-genres of the rock and roll realm while holding a common thread marking Silver Creek’s unique sound. Silver Creek consists of Shawn Tavenier, Anders Drerup, Je# Rogers, Mark Laforest,
& Blue, a music and comedy duo. Fans of the funnymen know what to expect while newcomers are in store for loads of laughs. !e Russell Fair lineup of fun runs all through Sept. 10 to 13, including the!urs-

Embrun, le 1 er septembre 2015 – Au nom du conseil d’administration, j’ai le plaisir de vous annoncer la nomination de monsieur Patrick Therrien au poste de directeur général de La Coopérative agricole d’Embrun Ltée. Agronome, M. Therrien a plus de 10 ans d’expérience comme directeur général de coopératives. Plus spécifiquement, il a oeuvré dans les domaines de l’alimentation animale, les productions végétales, les quincailleries et le pétrole. Titulaire d’une maîtrise en administration des affaires (MBA), il est reconnu pour avoir de la facilité à établir des partenariats solides avec les intervenants de divers milieux. À titre de directeur général, son rôle sera de collaborer étroitement avec le conseil d’administrationpour promouvoir une vision commune etmettre enplace des stratégies pratiques afin d’assurer la pérennité de l’entreprise. M. Therrien et sa conjointe, native de Kemptville, ont une petite fille de 2 ans et comptent s’installer dans la région d’Embrun au cours de la prochaine année. Sa connaissance de l’ensemble de nos secteurs d’affaires combinée à son leadership et son dynamisme lui confèrent assurément les qualités requises pour relever ce défi avec succès.
Embrun, September 1 st , 2015 – The Board of Directors is proud to announce the nomination of Mr. Patrick Therrien as CEO of La Coopérative Agricole d’Embrun Ltée.
Mr. Therrien is an agrologist with more than 10 years of experience as CEO of co- operatives. More specifically, he has worked in a variety of fields such as crops, feed, hardware and petroleum. He holds a master in business administration (MBA) and is known for his ability and ease in establishing solid relationships with various business partners. As CEO, he will be working closely with the Board of Directors to promote a common vision and put in place strategies to ensure the longevity of the business. Mr. Therrien and his spouse, a native of Kemptville, have a two year old daughter and plan to move to the Embrun area by next year. His knowledge of our different business sectors together with his leadership and his enthusiasm certainly ensure he has the qualities required to take on this challenge with success.
He has been in the position since August 24 th .
