Futral Enterprises’ commercial work reaches across the Plateau. Behind Hudson Library on Main Street, the company built the outdoor phase of the Foundation’s “ A New Chapter Begins ” campaign. Other projects include the GlenCove Clubhouse, Highlands Hardware & Lumber Co . and Four65 , where crews cut back into the granite behind the building to make room for the restaurant’s kitchen. The company is also rebuilding The Farm at Old Edwards following the August fire that extensively damaged the Pavilion. Across projects this different, Futral is quick to shift the attention away from the company name and toward the local trades that make the work possible.

When a project is referenced, the builder, architect and interior designer are usually among the names attached to it. Futral’s point is that the roster on site is much longer. He is talking about the local trades: the crews pouring foundations and roofing houses, the operators running backhoes and the people installing septic systems.
