Rotary Club of White Rock Sister’s Garden Planting

“This is a perfect service project for us because it gets us all together; it gets us outside doing real work.” The sisters weed in preparation for our rototilling and planting of okra, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant and more. The purpose of the

vegetables from the garden is to feed the unwed mothers and their young children and the Sisters for pretty much the whole year. “ So it like really, really like helps benefit the needy and the poor.” For more information https://youtu.be/blTNL-OZd8k

Thank you Craig Jeffrey, John Curtis, and David Crist for the pose. I asked them to smile. David said “This is my smile”. Ok then. They are part of the 15 member AG team and 3 alternates that represent Governor Bill Dendy and take his message to District 5810 Clubs. They are also at clubs to help where needed. They are all past presidents and have great experience. I personally appreciate their efforts. They have my respect and admiration. ~ PDG Tom Ryan

Let’s be POSITIVE  ENERGETIC  EFFECTIVE  MESURABLE As we begin our 4 th quarter, we have so much to celebrate and so much more fun to have. We are in the final stretch in this Rotary year. It is a sprint to the finish. Are you with me? We have had 3 vigorous quarters carrying on the impact of Rotarians Serving Humanity in our community that has spread all the way around the world. The final quarter is the most exciting. The greatest gains are won in the final quarter. We have so many events coming up in the next few months. I encourage you to list your events in the District Calendar. This is our invitation to attend and participate. Membership is growing; I encourage you to continue inviting others to join us in Rotary. It is time to make a gift of special contribution to the Foundation. Bring your financial donation to our 100 th birthday party. If it is more convenient, contact me and I will personally pick up and bring your gift to the party. Let us all make our contribution commitments to the Rotary Foundation. Join me in Rotary’s momentous historic giving of the century. There are so many more opportunities to get involved with your club and our district. How about attending RILI (Rotary International Leadership Institute) on May 20. There is the District Business Meeting to be held on

June 3 – select your club electors and make plans to attend – all clubs must be represented for the vote. How about taking a trip to Atlanta to attend the Rotary International Convention June 10-14. And there is so much more happening. What are you doing this 4 th quarter?
