Notice of Decision OF THE ADOPTION OF A COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PLAN
Conformément aux articles 17 et 28 de la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire, R.S.O. 1990, telle qu’amendée, le Conseil de la ville de Hawkesbury a décidé de désigner une zone de projet d’amélioration communautaire et d’adopter un plan d’amélioration communautaire. La date de la décision et la dernière date d’appel sont indiquées ci-dessous.
In accordance with Sections 17 and 28 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, a decision was made by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Hawkesbury to designate a Community Improvement Project Area and adopt a Community Improvement Plan. The date of decision and last date of appeal are noted below.

But et effet Un plan d’amélioration communautaire (PAC) est un outil qui permet à la ville de Hawkesbury d’encourager et de stimuler le développement économique et la revitalisation communautaire au moyen d’incitatifs financiers. Quand et comment déposer un appel Tout appel à la Commission des affaires municipales de l’Ontario doit être déposé auprès de l’autorité approbatrice (Hawkesbury) à l’attention du greffier, au plus tard 20 jours après la date de parution de la décision, indiquée ci-dessus comme dernière date d’appel. L’appel doit être déposé à l’adresse indiquée ci-dessous, être conforme aux lignes directrices de la CAMO (http://www.omb.gov.on.ca) et doit: (3) être accompagné des frais prescrits en vertu de la Loi sur la Commission des affaires municipales de l’Ontario d’un montant de 300,00 $ payable par chèque certifié ou mandat au ministre des Finances de la province de l’Ontario. The By-laws adopted by the Council are as follows: • By-law 60-2017 to designate a Community Improvement Project Area respecting the revitalization, redevelopment and enhancement of the Town of Hawkesbury • By-law 61-2017 to adopt a Community Improvement Plan for the Town of Hawkesbury Purpose and Effect A Community Improvement Plan (CIP) is a tool that allows the Town of Hawkesbury to encourage and stimulate economic development and community revitalization through financial incentives. The subject lands are illustrated by the Key Map (below). The complete By-laws are available for inspection at the office of the Planning department during regular office hours. When and How to File an Appeal Any appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board must be filed with the Approval Authority (Town of Hawkesbury) to the attention of the Clerk, no later than 20 days after the day of the giving of notice of the decision, shown above as the Last Date of Appeal. The appeal should be filed at the address shown below, be in accordance with the OMB guidelines (http:// www.omb.gov.on.ca), and it must: (1) Set out the specific part of the proposed By-laws to which the appeal applies; (2) Set out the reasons for the appeal; and (3) Be accompanied by the fee prescribed under the Ontario Municipal Board Act in the amount of $300.00 payable by certified cheque or money order to the Minister of Finance, Province of Ontario. Who Can File an Appeal Only individuals, corporations or public bodies may appeal a decision of the Approval Authority to the Ontario Municipal Board. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group on its behalf. No person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of the appeal unless, before the By-laws were adopted, the person or public body made oral submissions at a public meeting or written
