CD Mechanical stood out for the judges as a real example of resilience. Conan Devlin started the company in 2018 when his previous employer went burst and left him without the means to provide for his family. With the help of two apprentices, he took the leap and his courage and vision have paid off. Thanks to Conan’s extensive experience working as an employee and supervisor, CD Mechanical has completed prestigious projects in the past four years. The company has 26 employees working on projects in locations as far as Germany. CD Mechanical is proud to display many prestigious projects in its portfolio, such as installations done in universities, student accommodations, hospitals, colleges, and warehouses.
The judges appreciated the diverse nature of the business working with both oil and gas plumbing and praised CHILL Gas for keeping family values at the core of the business, delivering first class services to both domestic and commercial customers. The company has been celebrating great results, with an increase in commercial contracts and the opening of a second office to grow their offering. Their dedication to deliver the best in house training also impressed the judges. They show CHILL Gas’ great commitment to both the company and all their employees in the future, which the judges look forward to seeing. The company is getting ready for a dramatic increase in work with heat pump installations and the introduction of hydrogen boilers.
