The judges were impressed by the sheer number of prestigious projects led by NUGENT not only in Northern Ireland and Ireland, but also in London and Edinburgh, and by the great professionalism and high quality delivered by this well-respected contractor. NUGENT is proud to say they build and manage complex mechanical engineering projects that reimagine how people work and live in the built environment. They are leading the industry with the implementation of MMC (modern methods of construction), and DFMA (design for manufacture and assembly) at their dedicated 80,000 sq ft prefabrication facility. NUGENT is known for its delivery excellence and is proud to have a track record of functioning in a pro-active, efficient, and highly skilled manner on behalf of their clients.
The judges felt Oliver Cormican embodied the very spirit of this award, which recognises individuals who have had an outstanding performance and shown a real dedication to the plumbing and heating industry in Northern Ireland. Oliver had a very humble beginning at Warmflow in 1992, in what he had planned to be a short-term job driving a van. Fast- forward 30 years and today he is the company director, and still feels comfortable on-site at an install as he is sitting around a boardroom table. Thanks to his talent, hard work, and tenacity Oliver rose through the company to become a director in 2010. Throughout this time, he has been hands-on, and his colleagues say he might well still be found driving a delivery van if the need arose. Oliver’s talent in sales and customer service has also contributed to Warmflow’s success. According to his team, whether you are an installer, Government minister, or purchasing director, he will answer your phone call any time of the day. His hard work and tenacity were crucial in his journey, and Oliver’s talent in sales and customer service has also contributed to Warmflow’s success. His skills and generosity have been a great contribution to the industry, and the judges felt he was a very worthy winner.
