HAWKESBURY | La 5e soirée annuelle Rock’n’bowl, organisée par le club 100% Actifs, a permis d’amasser plus de 3900$ au Olympia Bowl à Hawkesbury, le ven- dredi 5 avril. Une soixantaine de participants regrou- pés en 12 équipes ont joué pour la bonne cause. La Banque Scotia a ajouté 3000$ au montant amassé par l’événement, pour un total d’environ 7000$. À la fin de la soirée, les joueurs ont rigolé en lançant de la main gauche, par exemple. «Ça a été amusant pour tout le monde, je crois», commente l’animatrice en chef pour l’organisme, Emé- lie Pilon, visiblement satisfaite. De plus, pr- esque tous les participants se sont mérité un petit prix de présence. Les sommes amassées aideront à financer Expositions Deux nouvelles expositions seront présentées à l’Ancienne prison de L’Orignal. En collaboration avec un collectionneur local, la première concerne l’évolution du téléphone d’hier à aujourd’hui. La seconde, Duldreaggan Hall, notre manoir écossais, permettra de retracer l’histoire de cette maison de pierre située sur le chemin Front à L’Orignal, du premier propriétaire en 1805, Alexander Grant, jusqu’au docteur Drummond Smith dans les années 1990.
