This is my second year riding the MS 150, and so thankful to be a part of Team DXP Cycling. My great friend Jack Bates, who is the most charity-active person I know, works for DXP and recruited me to support this great cause. I’ve always enjoyed supporting charity and helping fundraise for cures and treatments. I participate in the Ride to End Alzheimer’s every year, and have seen the results cycling fundraising contributes.

This is my 4th year participating in the MS 150 with the DXP Team. Biking MS has provided a great opportunity to spend quality time with my brother and allows me to see areas in a way I wouldn’t otherwise. On another level, it serves as a form of meditation for me. I am super easily distracted while doing basically anything else. When I’m on my bike, it’s like “OK, my body is completely occupied for the next X hours, now my mind can’t do anything but think through stuff.”

In the two years I have participated in the MS150, I have discovered I have two friends battling MS, and one friend who just lost her brother to MS. I hope to be a part of the solution to those fighting against MS.

I also really like the goal-setting/making progress aspect. I also really like that every time I ride, I can push myself to a point where I want to quit because I’m too tired or whatever, but I’ve learned to talk myself into keeping going for whatever my goal was when I started the ride...most of the time

Bryan Taylor I’m proud to be riding in the MS 150 for the seventh time and for my third year as part of the DXP Cycling Team. What started as a personal challenge has grown into

I am happy to be back riding the MS 150 after a few years off. I was an avid cyclist in college but got off the bike as I became a dad and focused on work. Fortunately, when work moved us here to Houston in 2005, I found a team and started riding again. In 2009, I joined the Houston Chronicle Cycling team and rode in the MS 150 with them through 2011. The team disbanded in 2012, so I moved over to the Michelob Ultra team and rode with them for 3 years, doing the MS 150 with them. In 2013, my oldest son and I joined the Schlumberger team and rode until 2016, after which I took a break from riding to focus on my marathon and ultramarathon interests. Running has taken a toll on me these last few years, so I am back on the bike and happy to be riding. I’m a 59-year-old father of four who tries to stay as active as possible. My youngest has special needs and recently joined my fitness adventures, allowing me to push her in runs as I push her with Ainsley’s Angels. What fun that has been! Very much looking forward to some miles in the saddle with my new team, making friends and memories. See y’all on the road soon. Let’s ride!

something I truly look forward to each year. This cause is close to my heart. My cousin’s sister-in-law has been courageously battling multiple sclerosis for years, and her strength and resilience continue to inspire me. Riding the MS 150 gives me a way to turn that inspiration into action - by taking on the physical challenge, raising

awareness, and supporting the ongoing search for a cure. Last year, Jack Barrett shared some heartwarming stories about the support they’ve received from the MS Society. This inspiring testimony truly motivated me to take action and I’m excited to support the cause for years to come. Since my first ride in 2018, I’ve come to appreciate the camaraderie and sense of community that make this event so special. Training and riding alongside

dedicated teammates is both motivating and rewarding, and it’s a reminder that perseverance matters - on the bike and beyond. I’m grateful for DXP’s continued support and the opportunity to ride for such a meaningful cause. Every mile brings us one step closer to ending MS.
