This will be my first year riding the MS 150 and I am beyond excited. This has been something I’ve always heard about but never thought I’d be participating in myself. The challenge to ride 150 miles in two days seemed so out of reach for me in so many ways but thanks to some amazing friends, I’ve gotten so comfortable riding and am so ready to take on this challenge for a cause.

Although I don’t know too much about MS I am excited to learn more about it through cycling! Fundraising itself was a challenge but realized how willing people are to support your goals if you just ask. I was able to reach my goal by offering pet photography in exchange for donations so I had a blast doing that.

For the past eleven years, I’ve had the privilege of participating in the MS 150 as a member of the DXP Cycling Team. What started as a ride has become a meaningful tradition—one that combines my passion for cycling with my commitment to giving back. It’s truly an honor to be part of such an incredible event and community.

Each year, our team dedicates our ride to everyone living with Multiple Sclerosis, but our mission is especially personal. The same year we started the DXP Cycling Team, our good friend and coworker, Jack Barrett, received heartbreaking news that his daughter, Caroline, had been diagnosed with MS. Since then, we’ve proudly ridden in her honor and in support of all those affected by this disease. This event is more than just a ride. It’s about raising awareness and supporting the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Nearly 1 million people in the United States are living with MS. While it can affect people of all ages, it is most commonly diagnosed in young adults, particularly women.

Being part of the MS 150 allows me to turn miles into meaning—supporting research, raising awareness, and standing with those impacted by MS. I’m grateful to ride alongside teammates, friends, and supporters who help make a difference with every mile.
