Une foire d’information pour les francophones de 50 ans et plus se tiendra le samedi 4 novembre, de 9 h à 15 h, à l’Académie de la Seigneurie de Casselman (731, rue des Pommiers). Organisée par la Fédération des aînés et des retraités francophones de l’Ontario (FARFO), la journée comprendra des ateliers, conférences, kiosques sur la santé, la sécurité, les services en français ainsi qu’un repas et une collation. On Wednesday, October 18, a special celebration was put on by the Russell and District Historical Society (RDHS) for the completion of the 1952Maple Leaf fire truck restoration project, as an appreciation for all parties involved. Russell mayor Pierre Leroux addressed the crowd, after RDHS Chair Judy James welcomed everyone and plaques were given out. Henry Staal, whowas instrumental in this process, also thanked the people and the community for their support. Russell Lions presents a cheque to DeafBlind
Des sénateurs visiteront des gens d’affaires locaux concernant l’imposition des petites entreprises et des sociétés privées La sénatrice Anne Cools, la sénatrice Nicole Eaton et le sénateur Victor Oh prendront part à une table ronde au sujet des changements proposés concernant l’imposition des petites entreprises et des sociétés privées. Le lundi 30 octobre, les sénateurs se rendront au Club de Golf Casselview à Casselman, en Ontario, où ils rencontreront des propriétaires de petites entreprises de la région. Ces derniers seront en mesure de partager leurs opinions au sujet de la réforme fiscale ainsi que des conséquences que de telles mesures pourraient engendrer.
Senators to visit with local business people to discuss the proposed tax changes for small businesses and private corporations Senator Anne Cools, Senator Nicole Eaton and Senator Victor Oh will participate in a round-table discussion regarding the impact of the proposed tax changes for small businesses and private corporations. On Monday, October 30, the Senators will travel to the Casselview Golf and Country Club in Casselman, Ontario, where they will meet with the region’s small business owners. Members of the community will be able to share with the senators their opinions on the tax reform, as well as the impact this reform could have on their businesses.
