The RPE department was delighted to welcome Reverend Helen Calner from St Augustine of Canterbury Church, Hospital Bridge Road, Whitton, to the school on Thursday 18 June 2026. Reverend Calner delivered an engaging talk to Year 12 A Level Religious Studies students on the themes of Gender and Theology. During the session, students explored the roles of women in the Bible and examined the history of women within the Church. The students were fully engaged throughout the discussion, asking thoughtful questions and contributing enthusiastically to the conversation. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of contemporary theological issues and enrich their classroom learning. AROUND THE SIXTH FORM: RPE TALK - REVEREND CALNER
