Student Achievements YOUTH COUNCIL ELECTIONS
We were thrilled to hear that six of pupils were elected to the Kingston and Richmond Youth Council
following the elections earlier this term. Well done to Amber P, 9PAH, Daisy J, 10SAN, Jiya K, 10EMU, Judith K, 10FDO, Tamira R, 10SSR and Annabelle R, 11PGU for their successful campaigns. We are very proud, not only of how many of our students put themselves forward as candidates but also of the record number of pupils taking part in the voting process - with over 800 Waldegrave pupils casting a vote in these elections, that’s an 80% turnout! We look forward to hearing more about their roles on the council and what they get up to as councillors.

Emma was another of our Waldegrave attendees at the Richmond Music Festival. She represented us with great talent and dedication, placing an impressive 3 in the Youth Intermediate Solo category. Fantastic job Emma! rd

Well done to Evie who has received a Jack Petchey Award for her hard work and enthusiam at 3 Hampton Hill Scouts. She is a highly valued member of the Explorer Unit and gets involved in all their events, she is also a Young Leader volunteering with their Cub Pack. rd
