V&A INNOVATE DESIGN COMPETITION A team of girls from the Year 9 D&T enrichment classes were shortlisted out of Student Achievements Congratulations to Daisy M who was undefeated as Middlesex Hammer Throwing Champion last weekend. She won the title last year, competing in the Middlesex County Championships and held on to her title this year, despite the freezing weather, with a winning throw of 31.29m. She is hoping to get a throw over 35m this season and we wish her luck! DAISY M, 10POR
SIO D, 8SDE Congratulations to Sio D, 8SDE, for the fantastic achievement of being selected for the London City Lionesses (LCL) Academy for the 26/27 season. This is wonderful news and is a result of her hard work. Amazing work Sio, well done! 166 other team entries to take part in the finals of this national design competition. They were highly commended in their category and we are extremely proud of their achievement.
