WHEREAS, thousands of West Palm Beach area elderly residents and veterans are now faced with healthy aging challenges and someone new is added to those ranks every minute in the great state of Florida and; WHEREAS, it is important that the people of West Palm Beach understand that during National Home Health month in November, that staying independent their homes longer allows for a longer and happier life; and WHEREAS, our brave American Veterans and their dedicated family have given their country the ultimate sacrifice; and WHEREAS, MIND & MOBILITY HOME CARES is empowering our West Palm Beach residents to take charge of their home health to live independently in their homes longer; and concurrently thanking our United States veterans for defending our wonderful freedom; WHEREAS, it is appropriate that this day be set aside to encourage senior residents and their loved ones to take steps to further create their legacies; and VOICE West Palm Beach’s support for our Veterans of Foreign wars for their courage throughout our history, now and on into perpetuity of
NOW THEREFORE, I, Jeri Muoio, Mayor of the City of West Palm Beach, do hereby proclaim this day of November 8 as a day of gratitude for: HOME HEALTH CLIENTS AND PROVIDERS & OUR BELOVED FLORIDA VETERANS In the City of West Palm Beach, I urge the people of the Greater Palm Beach Area to show support for our valued elderly residents and our inspiring veterans and for all of us to become active participants in the advocacy and education for these two respective groups.
