I love workingwith Parkinson’s patients because I get to spend one on one time and learn a lot about each person. I am very excited about the Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s patients course I will be attending next week, and can’t wait for Rock Steady Boxing to be available at our clinic. Come and work with me, and while we are working, I might even tell you about my grandchildren!”

life back. My family knew the risk, that I might not survive this. And then it happened. A circle of friends and family poured out their love for me like I had never seen before. How could I be so selfish? I was thinking only of myself, and what I had lost. I still had the most important thing left - love. So, I began the fight. To my surprise, I was not alone. Here came the most wonderful people of all, the therapists who taught me how to walk and stand and sit and roll over. The therapists taught me how to pick up a fork, get the food, and get it to my mouth. I wanted to write my name, so she worked with me until I could pick up a pen and hold it and not drop it. She helped me practice my letters over and over. I love these people. Time and time again they encouraged me, fought with me, understood me, and let me be my new self. They love me.” It’s true, we sure do! Strokes impact everyone around them, and we’re here to help you recover and return to your daily activities.
