STEERING LINKAGE UPGRADE KIT, T-STYLE (‘03-‘12)

RAM 2500/3500 LINKAGE 52122362AL: $493.95

tie rod adjusting sleeve upgrade (‘13-‘18, 3500) (‘14-‘18, 2500) DRM810002PR: $73.95 For trucks with the original steering drag link and turnbuckle. With welded nuts from safety factory recall V06. On 2013-2018 Ram trucks, the original equipment steering drag link has an adjustment sleeve with jam nuts that can loosen and cause the link to separate from the adjuster sleeve, potentially resulting in a loss of steering control. The dealer repair (safety recall V06) for this issue is to weld the factory nuts to the adjuster sleeve, which makes future adjustments difficult and time-consuming. In some cases, the entire drag link assembly must be replaced. This Dorman OE FIX sleeve is designed to provide a better, longer lasting and more affordable solution for vehicles equipped with the original factory design drag link. This convenient solution is engineered to replace the failure-prone factory sleeve and allow future steering adjustments that can be securely locked into place on the existing drag link. Manufactured from quality steel with an electrostatic, corrosion-resistant powder coating, the sleeve features handy wrench flats for easy installation.

Upgrade the steering in your '03-'12 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 from the Y-style to this heavy duty T-style steering linkage kit from Mopar. Three #6505623AA linkage kit nuts included with this kit. NOTE: Also fits ‘00-‘02, but may interfere with an aftermarket diff cover. NOTE: For 2003 to 2008 model trucks. If replacing the steering linkage or drag link inner tie rod assembly at the pitman arm on a vehicle built before February 14, 2008, verify that the pitman arm part# is 68039930AA. If not, it must be replaced with our part 68039930AA. 2000 to 2002 model trucks will re-use the factory original pitman arm. NOTE: Steering damper sold separately. See page 54. ‘00-‘07 model trucks will need the ‘08-‘12 steering damper.

With the OEM ball joint design on ‘94-‘24 trucks, frequent maintenance is required to prevent side-to-side movement of the front axle which can cause wear, hammering, wandering and the dreaded “Death Wobble.” BD’s Track Bar is a good solution for steering stability and is a great complement to BD’s Steering Box Stabilizer. Plus, it is adjustable to accomodate up to 3”-4” lifts.
