GFL Environmental Inc. wants the provincial and federal governments to help finance a natural gas distribution line extension to its composting and waste recycling facility in Moose Creek. In return the company promises to invest $60 million to expand its existing recycling operation and construct a renewable natural gas facility at the site so that it can serve as a regional supply source of natural gas for the Eastern Ontario distribution system.
