La troisième édition du Festival des Saveurs locales a attiré plusieurs centaines de visiteurs, le 13 octobre dernier. Organisé par le Service de développement de la Municipalité de Russell, l’évènement a présenté 20 différents exposants locaux, comme le traiteur La Bonne Bouffe, La Boulangerie du Village et Casselbrew. Les participants pouvaient déguster plusieurs mets et breuvages, et le tout pour une bonne cause. Cette année, les fonds amassés étaient destinés à l’organisme Les Amis pour la vie, pour la recherche sur le cancer. The third edition of the Local Festival of Flavours attracted manylocal residents on October 13. Organized by the development department of the Russell municipality, the event garnered twenty different exhibitors, such as the caterer La Bonne Bouffe, La Boulagerie du VIllage and Casselbrew, amongst others. Participants could therefore try several different foods and drinks, and all for a good cause. You can vote during the election voting period using the Internet from anywhere in the world. You can also use a telephone service and connect to the voting system toll free from anywhere in North America. The toll free number and the Internet site will be provided in a Voter Information Letter by mail addressed to qualified electors. located at the Town Hall, at 717 Notre-Dame, Embrun will be open between October 17 th and October 22 nd as follows: ● Wednesday, October 17 th to Friday, October 19 th between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. ● Saturday, October 20 th and Sunday, October 21 st between 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. ● Monday, October 22 nd between 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. For assistance during the voting period, please call 613-443-3066, extension 2345. Voters are encouraged to vote early during the voting period. Since the purpose for the use of the alternative voting, being telephone and internet voting, is to allow electors to vote from their home or from wherever they wish, and to offer a longer voting time period, the voting proxies are not applicable and no longer necessary. To know if you are on the Voting List or to make changes to the Voting List contact the Clerk’s department at 613-443-3066, extension 2345, as soon as possible.
