Role Summary This post will take the strategic and operational lead in the commercial development of the University’s student recruitment operations in China, as well as leading on procedural and systems issues for global recruitment through agents. The role will play a key part in the implementation of the University’s student recruitment plans and will be responsible for achieving a substantial increase in agent-led recruitment with a focus on 2021 registration.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy and Planning • Co-ordinate and, where appropriate lead, the development and delivery of a specific strategy and plan for China, working in partnership with other colleagues. • In conjunction with the Director of MAC and the Head of International Recruitment, review and lead University strategy for agent-led student recruitment. • Review, develop and deliver the operational plan for student recruitment in China with clear development of and measurement against KPI’s. • Implement an annual strategic review of the overseas agents network, measuring against KPI’s. Produce an annual report, based on cost/benefit analysis, for discussion by senior colleagues. • Working with the International Development Manager, the PVC Education, Faculty International Directors, and others, help identify and evaluate trans-national education partnerships which will increase the numbers of Chinese students on the Keele campus. • Develop and build networks internally and externally to further the aims of the China First strategy.
