Ann B. Barshinger Personal Care Memory Support Center is a secure and safe area where Residents are able to participate in individual and group life enrichment programs. With our new Personal Care Memory Support Center, St. Anne’s has the distinct opportunity to be fully positioned as a health care leader in Lancaster County, providing a specialized environment needed to attend to the specific needs of Residents with Alzheimer’s and Dementia diagnosis. Some of these needs may be: assistance with personal hygiene, medication administration, daily activities and guidance with safety and judgement. Our Residents have 24 hour supervision and assistance. All Memory Support rooms are private and feature a mini refrigerator, a flat screen television and storage space. Our aim is to provide support to both you and your loved one throughout this journey, offering a personalized program tailored to meet each resident's unique needs. We create and implement personalized care plans designed to ensure the best possible care for your loved one. The program currently includes: • Secure environment: A safe and easy-to-navigate space for resident’s assistance nearby at all times • Assistance with daily activities: Including bathing, dressing, grooming, housekeeping, laundry, and medication monitoring • Behavioral intervention: Verbal cueing, redirection of behaviors, and other techniques Activity program: Promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness Contact Admissions to schedule a tour!
