R OLES AND R ESPONSIBILITIES Role Responsibility Executive Sponsor

• Senior management that can provide funding and eliminate political obstacles • Sets goals and objectives to guide the project team • Act as the ultimate arbitrator and policy making decisions • Participate actively and visibly throughout the project • Acts as an arbitrator and policy making vehicle for the project • Serve as liaison to Executive Sponsor • Receives regular updates (based on the project work plan) about the project’s status from the Project Manager(s) • Participates in weekly project team meetings to set priorities, resolve conflicts, measure budgetary progress, and demonstrate management commitment • Coordinates Subject Matter Expertise Participation • Resolves conflicts and makes decisions on functional issues • Coordinates with business users to assist with design and development of the future system/process • Leads the effort for identifying test data and scenarios for the system prototype • Responsible for directing the maintenance of business process artifacts • Oversees the development of user procedures and training materials • Communicates business process changes and documents policy changes • Manages relationship with EWU • Provides functional knowledge of CWU business practices • Participates in defining, designing, and reviewing business processes • Participates in requirements, fit/gap, design, configuration and prototype sessions • Provides functional support to technical team where applicable • Works with Financial and Technical Lead to accomplish project deliverables • Assists with development of design specifications • Provides financial knowledge of CWU business practices • Coordinates Subject Matter Expertise Participation • Resolves conflicts and makes decisions on financial issues • Participates in defining, designing, and reviewing financial processes • Participates in requirements, fit/gap, design, configuration and prototype sessions • Coordinates with financial users to assist with design and development of the future system/process • Leads the effort for identifying test data and scenarios for the system prototype • Responsible for directing the maintenance of financial process artifacts • Communicates financial process changes and documents policy changes • Provides financial support to technical team where applicable • Works with Functional and Technical Lead to accomplish project deliverables • Assists with development of design specifications
