Technical Lead
• Provides knowledge of technology functionality • Prepares technical-specific project components
• Attends and assists with functional fit/gap and configuration session • Prepares estimates for software adaptations, modifications and customizations • Leads system test planning and execution • Assists with testing, system acceptance and implementation • Troubleshoots application • Works with the consultant PMs to ensure that functional specifications are met • Lead the development of test scripts and scenarios • Works with Functional Lead and Financial Lead to accomplish project deliverables • Support the project as needed • Contribute knowledge in their area of expertise towards project activities • Assist with system testing • Facilitates decision process and elevates issues to appropriate levels of management for resolution • Submit budgetary requests as needed • Coordinates consultant resources • Manages deliverables process • Ensures CWU resources are identified and participating in the project • Loads, monitors and updates project plans • Conducts regular status meetings and prepares regular project status reports • Attends sponsor meetings • Adds knowledge of CWU Project Management Procedures • Manages project scope • Serves as project scribe in consultant training sessions • Provides knowledge of how technology fits in with overall portfolio • Assists with coordinating IS Resources • Understand the purpose and objectives of the project • Provide Subject Matter Expertise, as needed • Work to timescales and within cost constraints • Identify issues and risks associated with the project • Contribute towards successful communications and positive motivation
