Swimming The U13, U15 and U18 squads went to Exeter School in the first of a series of 4 - schools' galas. We saw some Year 7 pupils taking part in the first gala of this kind and they did Queen's proud. It was brilliant to see over 30 pupils representing the College so early in the season. Basketball Queen ’ s showed unstinted determination couple with a strong sporting attitude and energy in abundance in an amiable test of our ability against Sidcot this week. With a smaller team than normal (in all senses) a small transfer window allowed us to loan two Sidcot players who made our players consider their tactics and how to control the game. A much improved defence came at the expense of successful offence, but allowed us to narrow the lead in what ended up as a loss. Nevertheless the boys drew praise from the Sidcot coaching team and Headmaster for their etiquette.

competing in a variety of jumping classes from 0.80m to 1.10m. All competed well and Georgie riding Kissed by Fire rode a clear round in the 1:00m competition to gain a provisional 2nd place. Unfortunately the day was curtailed due to an unfortunate incident (not Queen ’ s and all ok

thankfully). We look forward to further outings from our equestrian team(s) throughout the year.
