CELEBRITY PHOTOGRAPHER FINDS INSPIRATION IN EMBRUN

She decided to extend her trip in Embrun for a couple of weeks in order to complete a series of work. “This beautiful little thirty minutes outside of Ottawa and just two hours from Montreal is the perfect charming escape,” said Lawlor. “Cities are big and exciting but there is nothing better than visiting a small community and finding the beauty of it.” Her love for animals also inspired her next project. She is currently working on a coffee table book. She will be donating the profits to the World Animal Protection Organization in Canada, and the Human Society in New York. Lawlor has shared several of her photos of Embrun with the Reflet-News.
A celebrity and fashion photographer, originally from Ottawa, visited Embrun for the first time and was inspired to shoot a series of photos. Photographer Ann Lawlor has worked in New York, Los Angeles and Rome. She has covered the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes, having photographed many celebrities, such as Meryl Streep, Brad Pitt, Justin Bieber, Bono, Sting, Beyonce, Kanye West, and many others. Her work has been featured in People, US, Elle, New York Post and Time, to name a few. En visitant un ami à Embrun récemment Anne Lawlor, une photographe de célébrités et de mode, originaire d’Ottawa, est tombée amoureuse de l’imagerie cinématographique qu’elle a trouvée dans la région. Elle était particulièrement attirée par les terres ouvertes, les fermes, les animaux, les maisons et les granges négligées, les silos et les champs de maïs. Elle a décidé de prolonger son séjour à Embrun pendant quelques semaines afin de terminer une série de travaux. Elle a également fait équipe pour deux des pièces avec David Guertin-Chauvette, Amélie Larocque et Gau- tier Marinof. Lors d’une récente entrevue, Mélissa Ouimet déclarait qu’il était important pour elle d’être un modèle pour les jeunes. Plusieurs familles, des jeunes filles et leurs mères ainsi que des groupes d’amis s’étaient donné rendez-vous au Centre Shenkman d’Orléans, le vendredi 6 avril, pour la présentation du nouveau EP de Mélissa Ouimet. Amours jetables , le nouveau EP de la rockeuse franco-ontarienne de Saint-Albert, a été lancé deux ans après la sortie du premier album de Mélissa Ouimet. « En fait, pour cet EP-là, je suis artiste indépendante, a-t-elle annoncé. C’est donc moi qui suis à la tête du projet à tous les niveaux. J’apprends beaucoup et j’aime ça parce que je suis une fille qui aime être au courant de ce qui se passe.
