West 7th / Cultural District to Downtown & Panther Island / Stockyards ■ Identified Needs: Improve access to Panther Island/Stockyards and Downtown with additional river crossing options, a new rail crossing to ease congestion, and transportations alternatives to W 7th St.
Butler Place & United Riverside ■ Identified Needs: Right-size regional access to Butler Place, create multimodal access and gateways, enhance access to Trinity River open spaces. ■ Potential Project Alternatives: Roadway reconstruction and reconfiguration to multimodal boulevards, bridges, enhanced overpasses, deck parks, and/or tunnels, river gateway project. Near Southside ■ Identified Needs: Upgrade the I-30 crossing for high-capacity transit access and offer better transit to reduce local car trips. ■ Potential Project Alternatives: Lane reconfiguration, tunnelling.
