West 7th / Cultural District The Cultural District corridor already has nodes of mixed-use development, but most of the area remains characterized by standalone commercial uses and single-family detached housing. Accommodating more than 17,000 residents and 50,000 jobs would require intensification of commercial and office development along the West 7th corridor and the conversion of underutilized parcels to multifamily and mixed-use. Civic and cultural assets, including Will Rogers Memorial Center, Farrington Field, and Fort Worth Botanical Garden, would remain.
