Before we even begin, we go through a pre- construction phase to make sure everything is in order, so there are no surprises or cost overruns down the line,” Nicolai said. Each trade is supervised by a quality control manager, and nothing is approved without meticulous inspections. “We don’t pay our subcontractors until every detail has been verified,” Nicolai said.
