Though Sabal Development has already achieved significant success, Nicolai is not content to rest on his laurels. With plans to raise additional equity from European investors, the company is poised for growth. “We’re planning to do more projects next year. We’ve already purchased land in Boca Raton, and we’re looking to expand,” he said. Despite the challenges of navigating Florida’s notoriously difficult permitting process, Nicolai sees plenty of opportunity ahead. “There’s room to grow,” he said confidently. “Florida is a tough market, but we’re one of the few companies that can handle these types of projects, so we’re in a good position.” Looking Ahead: Growth and Expansion
