The Prescott and Russell Residence, a long-term care facility of 146 beds located in Hawkesbury requires candidates with abilities, training and experience to fill this regular full-time position (non-unionized). Requirements: • Post-secondary degree education or university degree; • Knowledge of the practices pertaining to housekeeping, laundry and building maintenance; • At least two years experience in management or personnel supervision; • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry maintenance methods in a long term care facility or other similar domain would be an asset; • Have the ability to understand and implement in accordance with the departmental and corporate policies and procedures, the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care standards and the collective agreements; • Have well developed organizational skills in order to be able to prioritize his work as well as the staff’s work with this being in a unionized environment; • To hold a certification in health and safety would be an asset; • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; • Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
