It had been so in th e purpose and inten tion of God. We accept His assurance and re st upon it. We reckon th a t if we have been judged in Christ, we have passed to the o ther side of the thund er storm , and ,are living in th e blue skies of God’s acceptance and grace.— F. B. M. The blood was the token for Jehovah. F aith in the fact th a t it had been sprinkled gave peace to all w ithin. As th e sacrific ing of the lamb is a symbol of the redemption by which th e death penalty due by one is paid by another, so the eating of it is a figure of th e p articipa tion in pardon, acceptance, and full blessedness consequent on th e atone m ent being made and the law being satisfied.— Gray.
