Section 7 Burner Enable Interlock
• This means the Carel controller told the flame to ignite, but the flame controller (Fireye) did not respond with “burner proven” or “flame fail” • Check high air pressure switch. Measure air pressure across the burner, if pressure is higher than .9”w.c. the profile damper/plate is too closed • Check high gas pressure switch. Reset the switch, then measure gas pressure going to the burner manifold. If pressure is higher than switch setting, adjust to lower pressure using gas regulator • Check high temperature limit. Reset the high temp limit switch. If reset resolves the issue, monitor high fire flame and discharge temperature to ensure the gas actuator is not stuck in the high fire position.
