About the Scholarship This scholarship provides support for a student in the College of Professional Studies participating in a study or service abroad or a cultural service program within the United States. Established by Dennis and Sharon Peterson of Waupaca, WI, the intent of the scholarship is to give students the opportunity to develop their awareness and understanding of cultural traditions, lifestyles, or viewpoints that differ from their own. Make it OK campaign to help end the stigma surrounding mental health and illnesses by encouraging understanding and caring conversations about mental health.
