One of the first churches (in 1955) to give to the new La Mirada campus of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles was the Venice Baptist. Pictured here from left to right are Eugene Poole of the school's Field Department; pastor Omer Norris of the Venice church and Dr. S. H. Sutherland, Biola president. The g ift was for $1,000 and the church continues to give monthly. Since then many other churches have given to the new campus.
