Many studies have shown that businesses that offer incentive programs bring in more revenue than those that don’t. Best Practices  Create different types of programs- people respond differently to individual and team-based incentives  Make the prize significant to the HSPs- are they interested in money? Gift cards? Food?  Follow through with the prize and give it out in a timely fashion  Create hype around the office by always talking about it- creates buy-in and motivation to participate and try to win  Celebrate the winners- often people respond well to recognition- talk about at meetings or post on the office walls
