THE K I NG ' S BUS I NE S S The clubs for young business women are progressing splendidly, both in at tendance and in deepening spiritual in terest. Several girls from various parts of the country who have been spending the winter in California, are returning to their homes with definite plans to start similar clubs there. Some from each club are planning to enter the Institute in the fall to prepare for life service. With the usual responsiveness of young life, as they get larger visions of the spiritual life, the girls are going out filled with enthusiasm for service, offering their first prayers and testi monies and doing their first bit of per sonal work. One young woman, spend ing the week end at her mother’s home “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” URING the past month the truth of this text of Scripture has been verified, as you will see from the following inci dents. Many times we are tempted to discouragement when we do not see any definite results from our labour, but God’s Word is true and faithful. There fore, whether we see results or not, we know that our labour is not in vain in the Lord. Praise God! Recently it was our privilege to wel come a young man on his return from Mexico who, with his brother, accepted the Lord in the Ramona camp some two years ago. Another young man, a friend of these brothers, was living with them at the time, but on every visit he re fused the invitation to receive the Lord as his Saviour. Nevertheless, he bought a Bible, and on meeting him after eight months of absence we asked him if he had accepted Christ as his Saviour. To Robert H. Bender. R p iM M |

reading “ Science and Health” and per suaded her to burn the book and begin studying the Bible with the Holy Spirit, instead of Mrs. Eddy, as the Teacher. The mother said, “ Well, I feel the need of something. I go to the Science Church on Sunday, to the Millennial Dawn meeting on Wednesday, and to the Seventh Day Adventist service on Saturday. That seems to be all there is of a religious nature in the neigh borhood and I have been trying them all, but still I am not satisfied,” She assented gladly to her daughter’s sug gestion to open her home for a Bible Class where the old fashioned Bible truths should be taught and believed. our delight he confessed that he had read his Bible every day and that he had received Christ, and further testified that his life was different from what it had been when he lived in Ramona, for God had worked in him a new creation. He also said, that when he should re turn to Mexico, he expected there would be a revolution in his home. He is a member of a large fanatical family. Formerly he seemed so devoted to the religion of his fathers, but now he is jealous for the religion of Jesus Christ. We do praise God for .this trophy and we covet your prayers that, as we teach him the Bible, the Lord may lay His hand upon him for His Service. Another Woman of Samaria Another case is that of a woman who is a typical case of the woman of Sa maria, who not only has had five hus bands, but many more. Over a year ago we found her in a camp at Arcadia. She was always an attentive listener, and when Mrs. Bender went with us she always invited her into her room. Later S g f g l | 5M°°
