The Clarence Creek Castors hold top spot in the National Capital Junior Hockey League with their latest pair of wins over the December 2 weekend. The Castors grounded the North Dundas Rockets 9-3 Saturday night in Chesterville then returned home Sunday to beat the Gatineau-Hull Volant 4-1 in the afternoon. Inspiré par la nature, les voyages, et la lecture, ses tableaux évoquent des souvenirs et quelquefois des rêves permettant une constante découverte et interprétation de son art. À travers ceux-ci Monique exprime la beauté du moment présent. Fervente de l’art figuratif et de l’abstraction elle a développé une approche afin d’imbriquer ces deux styles. Ses oeuvres sont donc à caractères figuratif et abstrait en même temps. Comme c’est le cas pour la plupart des artistes, sa technique est en évolution constante.
