February 2019

TJ and I had a very busy but exciting holiday season ourselves. The day before winter break, Samantha lost her right front tooth! They were eating dinner at Gran and PopPop’s when it came out in a dinner biscuit! She pulled her other front tooth out 10 days later, using one of the remote control cars we got for Christmas. She got the idea from a boy in her class who’d done the same! Santa treated our girls well and their favorites were “evy- thing”! TJ and I received nice gifts as well, including some high school memorabilia and our own RC cars to chase the girls with! I also got electric handwarmers to warm up my cold hands! After a 3 year hiatus, I completed the annual poem that I write to TJ, a little book I started when we got engaged in 2005. We watched the London NYE countdown on YouTube, shot confetti in the air, and the girls were asleep by 10:30 p.m. (mostly because they

thought they made it up until 12 a.m. to watch the “real” ball drop). Samantha did question our count down: “Is this really in North America?” Worked like a charm! Over Sydney’s holiday, she set up a video camera to watch her dog Scooby while she’s gone – he’s been a bad boy and has been chewing on her shoes! She rang in the New Year with Morgan at Primo, and has been getting excited for her Kesha cruise. She’ll be sailing from Tampa to Nassau, Bahamas later in February! Lauren’s holidays also included a puppy and a vacation! Her family welcomed puppy Kiana, she definitely won for best gift! After Christmas she and her husband enjoyed a tropical getaway, stay tuned for some hi-lights next month!
