Minimum level of professional memberships of recognized engineering bodies - Institute Mechanical • Engineers/Institute of Electrical Engineers/Member of Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineer (CIBSE to fellowship level (e.g. FCIBSE, FIET, ASHRAE Fellow),) • NEBOSH • IOSH • CDM 2015 • Asbestos awareness P405 • General & Specialist Knowledge • Education & Training
• Relevant Experience
• Experience in Higher Education or similar complex organisations. • Knowledge and experience of research/specialist activities and related maintenance and inspection schedules. • Proven experience of senior leadership management of engineering/maintenance teams. • Undertaking strategic reviews of large and complex engineering installations and making • recommendations. • Experience of developing and delivering low energy strategies. • Experience of building management systems and their optimisation. • Significant experience of engineering design and design related activities related to large projects or portfolios. • Management of measured Term Services Contracts their effective performance and financial. • Experience of working with combined heat and power generation plant and heat networks.
• Special Requirements
• The post holder need to be an expert Chartered Engineer with significant and successful track record with relevant experience and qualifications in the management of Engineering assets, legal compliance, keeping the University compliant within an optimised environment.
