Il y aura des cérémonies de lever du drapeau dans de nombreuses municipalités à travers la province, en partenariat avec Autisme Ontario, qui fournit les drapeaux. —photo fournie

Autism Ontario focuses mainly on providing information and education about autism, supporting research, advocating for programs and services, and raising public awareness about the day-to-day challenges of those affected with autism and their families. Every year, Autism Ontario organizes the Raise the Flag campaign, in which com- munities across the province can apply to participate. In doing so, they receive an Autism flag to be raised in their respective communities on World Autism Awareness Day. Clarence-Rockland will be participa- ting in Autism Ontario’s Raise the Flag campaign to recognize World Autism Awareness Day. The goal of the Raise the Flag campaign is to raise awareness about autism and to build more inclusive communities. Raising the Flag aims to unite families, schools and governments in different communities around Ontario for the same purpose. World Autism Awareness Day falls on Eas- ter Monday this year, on April 2. Therefore, Autism Ontario’s Raise the Flag campaigns will be held the following day, on Tuesday, April 3. Clarence-Rockland will be holding
a short ceremony, during which the Autism flag will be raised on the front lawn of Town Hall, on Laurier Street, at 10 a.m. Autism Ontario is the province’s largest collective voice representing the autism com- munity. The organisation has 25 Chapters in different communities across the province

Les retraites ont eu lieu les 6 et 8 décembre dernier et le lundi 15 janvier.
