Breach Christopher Anderson, 29, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 30 and charged with breach- ing his undertaking for having associated with someone known to have a criminal record and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on May 26, the man was spotted by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service in the company of someone known to have a criminal record. Nancy Hutt, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 31 and charged with breaching two probation orders for having consumed alcohol and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on May 31, police attended a Cumberland Street address in relation to a disturbance call. Once on scene, they located the intoxicated woman and took her into custody. A 19-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 3 and charged with breach of recog- nizance for being out past curfew. It is alleged that on June 3, police attended the area of the 200 block of Water Street for a suspicious call. Once in the area, police located the man. Warrant, personation Dakota Garlow, 28, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 30 on the strength of a warrant and also charged with personation. It is alleged that on May 6, the man failed to attend court for a theft under $5000 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Sexual assault A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 31 and charged with sexual assault. It is alleged that on May 31, the man sexually assaulted a 27-year-old woman. A 38-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 1 and charged with sexual assault. It is alleged that on June 1, the man sexually assaulted a 27-year-old woman. Criminal harassment A 42-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 31 and charged with criminal harass- ment. It is alleged that the man contacted his 42-year-old ex-wife by way of text messages and by way of attending her place of work despite having been told by her to stop com- municating with her. Warrant, breach A 22-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on May 31 on the strength of a warrant and charged with breaching her undertaking for communicating with someone that she has conditions not to, and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on May 31, during a traffic stop, the woman was found to be in the company of a person that she was on conditions not to communicate with. Assault, breach, mischief, overcome resistance A 48-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 31 and charged with assault, mischief, overcoming resistance and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on May 31, during an argument, the man pushed his 28-year-old girlfriend to the ground and applied pressure to her throat with his hands. The man then damaged the phone in the room when she attempted to call out. Robbery, mischief, assault A 40-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 31 and charged with robbery, mischief and assault. It is alleged that on May 31, during an argument, the man forced his 25-year- old girlfriend’s cell phone away from her and threw it against the wall. He then tried to pry the recovered cell phone from his girlfriend’s possession. Assault A 21-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 2 and charged with assault. It is alleged that on June 2, during an argument with his 17-year-old girlfriend, the man grabbed her by her arms, bit her then pushed her. A 27-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 2 and charged with assault. It is alleged that on June 2, during an argument with his 21-year-old girlfriend, the man punched her in the back. Theft under $5000 An 18-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 3 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged that sometime in the month of May, 2014, the man removed a WII FIT console from his foster parents’ house. Assault, breach A 23-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 3 and charged with assault and three counts of breach of probation for failing to keep the peace and communicating with some- one that he has conditions not to communicate with. It is alleged that in the early morning
hours of June 3, during an argument with his 22-year-old girlfriend, the man punched her on the head and shoulder. Warrant, fail to attend An 18-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on June 4 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged that the woman failed to attend court on May 27 for an assault charge, and a war- rant was issued for her arrest. Assault, assault with a weapon A 50-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman, both from Cornwall, were arrested on June 5. It is alleged that on June 5, due to an argument, the couple engaged in a struggle result- ing in the man being cut on his finger by a knife. Warrant Lisa Sauve, 26 of Cornwall was arrested on June 5 on the strength of a warrant. It is al- leged that on June 2 the woman failed to attend court for a theft under charged and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Theft under $5000, breach Douglas Anderson, 30 of Cornwall was arrested on June 5 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on May 11, the man was responsible for removing property that did not belong to him from an Amelia Street yard. Mischief A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 5 and charged with mischief. It is al- leged that on June 5 during an argument with his mother the youth damaged dining room chairs and punctured holes in the walls.
