Stacy Pelchat and Tammy Willei, both employees of Rockland’s YMCA, provided several visitors to the centre with their bake sale. “It’s our first time doing it,” explained Willei. All funds are going towards the YMCA’s Strong Kids initiative, an annual fundraising campaign focused on raising resources to give kids the opportunities they need to live healthier, happier lives. Over $13 million was raised last year through the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign in Canada. —photo Francis Racine
