“Not every electrical contractor is right for every job,” Ileana says. “We’re intentional about matching the right trade to the right project.” Before work begins, subcontractors meet with Florida Palm as if they’re interviewing to join the team.

For Ileana, that representation is cultural, not symbolic.

“We tell them, ‘You are an extension of Florida Palm Construction,’” she explains.

“I grew up watching my father work in construction,” she recalls. “And I remember thinking we don’t have to operate job sites that way. We can have conflict and handle it in a healthy way.” “We’re all here to get the project done together. Everyone has a role. Bring your best to the table.”
