This fully funded degree will train you to become a Nurse for people of all ages with Learning Disabilities, leading directly to a rewarding and highly-skilled career in a range of settings.

Learning Disability Nursing is a diverse and essential profession. At our excellent facilities, which provide realistic workplace simulations, you will develop your critical thinking to enable you to identify the diverse and complex needs of people with learning disabilities, including mental, physical, cognitive or behavioural health challenges, to make accurate nursing diagnoses and plan and evaluate the care required to maximise service users’ participation in society. You will spend approximately half of your course on clinical placements in the NHS and independent sector, including community health care centres and specialist settings for people with learning disabilities, which will allow you to hone the practical skills you need to begin your career with confidence.
