“When I became Board President over a decade ago, Northern Nevada HOPES was already a beacon of compassionate care. But what we’ve accomplished since then has been nothing short of transformative. Together, we opened two new facilities, launched dozens of life- changing programs, and expanded care to thousands – including the creation of Hope Springs, our bridge housing community. Most importantly, we did it by listening to our patients, who continue to be our compass guiding every decision and every innovation. As I prepare to step down in 2026, I’m very optimistic about our future. It’s my honor to introduce Dr. Trudy Larson, HOPES’ co-founder and a lifelong champion of public health, as the next Board President. With her leadership and the unwavering support of our staff, patients, board, and community, I know HOPES will continue to navigate toward a future where everyone has access to dignified, transformative care. ”
