The Global Sports Tower, Riyadh The centrepiece of Riyadh’s Sports Boulevard, the Global Sports Tower will rise 130 metres above the city, making it the world’s tallest dedicated sports tower. It will house more than 30 state-of-the-art sports facilities, including a 98-metre indoor climbing wall and what is billed as the world’s highest running track – a 250-metre el- evated circuit offering panoramic views across the capital. The wider Sports Boulevard masterplan spans 4.4 million sqm of green space and incorporates around 50 sports facilities, alongside landscaped routes for pedestrians, cyclists, athletes and horse riders.
Simaisma Project, Qatar
Located approximately 40 km north of Doha, the Simaisma Project is one of Qatar’s largest planned coastal tourism developments. Stretching along 7km of coastline, the project masterplan combines beachfront hospitality, entertain- ment and residential components structured around 16 distinct zones, including multiple resort districts Planned attractions include a 650,000 sq m Land of Legends theme park, a Trump International Golf Club with an 18-hole champion- ship course, and branded residences, residential villa communities, a yacht marina, and extensive dining and retail facilities.

Expo 2030 Riyadh
Expo 2030 Riyadh is one of the most ambitious global events ever planned in the region, with more than $7.8 billion allocated to the site as part of a wider $92 billion investment into the Saudi capital. Designed as a six-square-kilometre “Global Village,” the development will host more than 40 million visits during its six-month run.
AlUla Manara
In June, the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) approved the design of AlUla Manara, a landmark as- tronomy, research, and sustainable tourism project designed to position AlUla as a global destination for astronomical discovery, scientific re- search, and astro-tourism. Located 70 km north of AlUla between the Harrat Uwayrid Reserve and Ghar- ameel – an area with exceptionally dark skies, minimal light pollution, and favourable atmospheric condi- tions for astronomical observation – the development will feature a world-class astronomical observa- tory with a four-metre primary tele- scope and two two-metre telescope, plus advanced research facilities, visitor attractions, and immersive educational facilities.

Building on its reputation as a regional hub for culture, several next-gener- ation museums are currently under development in Qatar, including: Lusail Museum: Designed by Herzog & de Meuron, it will house the world's largest collection of Orientalist paintings and explore the history of the Arab world. Art Mill Museum: Scheduled to open by 2030, it transforms a former industrial flour mill on the Corniche into a centre for international modern and contemporary art. Qatar Auto Museum: Located along the Lusail Expressway, this 30,000 sqm facility will celebrate automotive culture and innovation.
