Galali Coast Waterfront Project, Muharraq Governorate Located along the approach to Amwaj Islands in Muharraq, the Galali Coast Waterfront Project is Bahrain’s newest community-oriented waterfront destination. The 100,000 sq metre development will host a range of fami- ly-friendly watersports and will feature cafés, retail kiosks and extensive public spaces. The project forms part of Bahrain’s wider strategy to diversify its tourism appeal. The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has appointed Edamah to manage and operate the project, reinforcing its role within the kingdom’s growing portfolio of seafront leisure developments.

Diyar Ras Al Hadd, Oman

Located on Oman’s eastern coastline, Diyar Ras Al Hadd is an integrated coastal tourism development with a core focus on sustainable hospi- tality. The project will be anchored by the five-star Chedi Ras Al Hadd (pictured), housing 225 guestrooms and 25 chalets, supported by a specialty restaurant, health club and leisure facilities. Among its standout features is what is described as the second-longest swimming pool in Oman, reinforcing its positioning as a premium beachfront destination. The development has been conceived with sustainability at its core, incorporating advanced technologies to minimise environmental impact and protect surrounding marine ecosystems and biodiversity. Omani Mountain Destination, Jabal Akhdar

Located around 2,400 metres above sea level on Jabal Akhdar, the Omani Mountain Destination is a planned $2.4 billion tourism development designed to position Oman’s Al Hajar range as a premium summer escape. The masterplan includes approximately 2,000 hotel rooms, more than 2,500 residences and a dedicated wellness village, alongside hiking trails, adventure activities and a Dark Sky stargazing zone. A high-altitude sports training facility and biodiversity centre are also planned. Powered by renewables, the project aligns with Oman Vision 2040 and is set to become a highlight of the Sultanate’s expanded sustainable tourism offering.
